I want to know that if i plug 5v DC cooling fan to Axon onboard fan plug then will it work dynamically. like fan auto start when axon temperature rise and also speed up and down base on temperature need?
I think you can, if you continuous monitor temperature of the SBC, and set condition and set voltage according through PWM Pin, But I think it goes up to 3.3 V Max.
for z in /sys/class/thermal/thermal_zone*; do
[ -f "$z/temp" ] || continue
temp=$(cat "$z/temp")
name=$(cat "$z/type")
awk -v name="$name" -v t="$temp" \
'BEGIN { printf "%-25s %6.1f °C\n", name, t / 1000 }'
done
Let me find if there is any other way to do it as well.
Ok so onboard fan plug is not dynamic. I need to build it using PWM pin. fan is 24v so i will need Optocoupler and PNP transistor. Thanks for the reply.
