Do we need to provide external power to hard drive connected using SATA?
the disk does not show up in the disks utility, and there are no signs of it powering up when connected.
Could you send the attached Hard-drive photo with Axon here?
Also turn them on back side and send photo.
And Send log of the board by running below command:
sudo dmesg > log.txt
Upload log.txt file here.
As we see in the log, the Issue is SATA link is down.
There might be a chance that the cable is not connected properly with both sides, especially with axon as it requires a little bit of press to attach and lock it.
Check Cable condition again.
While attaching cable, there is a chance one of the pins can be damaged.
Again check by running command
lsblk
We tried, still not showing. We have also ensure that we have connected the disk properly. Does the issue have something to do with power adapter? We are currently using 5.1V DC raspberry pi power adapter to power up Axon.
You are required to use PD Adapter that can support at least 12 V.
