I have a vicharak vaaman board. While using the board one the componets got damaged. It’s a small 6pin IC next to a 3R3 module I think the marking on this module is 5PFCB. I want to know which component is this exactly. Also to what extent can this damange the Vaaman board. What steps can i take next to get this issue sorted. Can i get the schematic of this board to deduce what other components and module could be affcted by this damaged part.
From the photo you sent, all the outputs of that part go directly to the processor and are not used anywhere else. Therefore, the possibility of this IC getting damaged is very low.
What were you doing when this IC got damaged? It is unusual for this IC to fail under normal operating conditions.
Also, please do not power on the board until this IC has been replaced. Doing so may cause further damage to the board or other components.
I was powering on when smoke started coming out of this IC I immediately removed the power and raised this topic. Also can I know what exactly is this componet and where to get it to replacec it form the board?
