How to enter into Maskrom mode on Axon?

Here, you can find steps to follow to enter Axon into MaskRom Mode.

  1. Power on the board using the power delivery adapter.
  2. Attach Type-C To USB Cable OR Type-C To Type-C from Axon to the Host PC/Laptop from which you want to flash the image.
  3. Make sure you have connected the Type-C Cable to the Axon Type-C0 port.
  4. Press the Boot button continuously and press the reset button 2-3 times.
  5. Now, If you are using Linux then Download GitHub - vicharak-in/Linux_Upgrade_Tool: // Rockchip Upgrade Tool for flashing images to Linux.

Using USB To TTY(UART)

  1. Connect TTY module to Axon GPIO Header Pin and installation of Putty/Minicom guide.
  2. Open Minicom/Putty/Tera term and set baud rate to 1500000 and select the device accordingly.
  3. Connect Type C To USB cable from the axon’s type C 0 port to Host PC.
  4. Now, press Reset button on Axon.
  5. When you get Logs then start pressing Ctrl +C and you will get u-boot console and enter command rbrom .
  6. Device will detect on host pc.
  7. Download Axon RAW image in eMMC and Flash using rkdevtool and linux.
