Dear Team, I have a axon board which i flashed with an android OS…when i try to access the ethernet port using a cable and restart the board. The board doesnt boot n i have to reflash the OS…If i set static IP to the ethernet port, im able to establish communication over this but once i reboot the device the axon board doesnt start. Gets stuck in boot up and i have to reflash. I tried by just connecting the ethernet cable and did not change the ip(kept the default settings as dhcp) and did a reboot even then the board failed on boot up…kindly suggest what can be done…using OS : V1.0.2_vicharak_axon_5.10_25102025-Android12-emmc.img …Thanks…

If you remove ethernet, Does board reboot !?
Mean while If you do have USB to UART Module that can support 1500000 baudrate will help you to get booting logs.
I tried by disconnecting all cables still it was failing…have got the uart logs…pfa…

Could you try with erasing eMMC and Flash Android Image again !?
As of now we have not seen this issue.
I tried by erasing the emmc and did a reflash again…but same issue…once i configure the ethernet static ip and do a reboot the board doesnt start…
Could you show me the steps that you are following to set static IP in android !?
Settings > Network & Internet > Ethernet > Ethernet Ip Mode > Static…here i set [192.168.10.20, 192.168.10.1, 255.255.255.0, 8.8.8.8, 8.8.4.4]…but anyways even if i dont set the static ip and just connect the Ethernet Cable the device on reboot doesnt boot…
I think before setting, static IP, it works properly, correct !?
My observation : If i set dns as 0.0.0.0 then on reboot board boots successfully. If i set dns 8.8.8.8 then on reboot there is failure…im still trying to figure out the exact changes that affect this…but sharing with u here the adb logs for both cases…the device connects on adb even if it fails to boot successfully…

edit : The static settings are not getting saved on the device…due to which i think there is failure on reboot when the device tries to find the static ip config…

Could you try with below setting !?
Select Ethernet IP mode : static
- IP Address : 192.168.10.20
- Net Mask : 255.255.255.0
- Gateway : 192.168.10.1
- dns1 : 8.8.8.8
- dns2 : Keep empty
Network & Internet → Private DNS
And Also select Private DNS Mode as
Off OR Private DNS provider hostname
