My Vicharak Axon is not booting

Hi, I have been using vicharak Axon from last 2 weeks and while doing process all of a sudden, it stopped working.

The red LED is not powered up only white/blue LED is working.
Attaching image for reference.

The vicharak Axon was running on 12V supply and i was using KiCad to design our PCB and test the RKNN openCV model.

Please kindly help,

@Rajat-Pathak I request your support here

Please ensure that no metallic objects are placed near the Axon unit. Doing so creates a risk of short-circuiting the internal components.

Could you remove power cable and again plug in and check !?

Yes,
I can confirm that no metallic objects are placed near the Axon board.
attaching a full video for the plug-in test we have conducted.

It seems you’re powering it wrong.
Axon requires specific type-C PD cable. Plus PD adapter with 12V support.
Read thru our documentation once.

We are already powering it with 12V PD Adapter.

Kindly note. It requires specifically 12V PD adapter, not this one.
We also have put 12V PD adapter link in our documentation.
Use the cable that we shipped with box and 12V PD adapter and let us know.

Hi Team, It is showing out of stock to us on your website.
We kindly request you to arrange it if possible.

also curious to know, how would then vicharak be used in PCB or in IoT device if it is powered by your adapter only?

we were thinking to power it via LFP battery with constant 12v for our device.

The product is currently showing as out of stock on our website. However, you can use this Pd adapter as an alternative :-

Regarding the power supply, the USB Type-C port is intended only for power input using a USB Type-C PD adapter, as mentioned in our documentation.

If you’re planning to power the board from an LFP battery with a constant 12V supply in your IoT device, that is also possible. There are dedicated power pads located behind the USB Type-C port on the AXON board. You can directly solder your power connection to these pads and power the board without using the USB Type-C connector.

If you need any guidance on the power connections, feel free to let us know.

Hi Team, We used the same PD adapter that you recommended but still not working.

also we tried to power it with LFP battery with constant 12v at dedicated power pads but still no power response.

I kindly request you to arrange a pickup and conduct a complete diagnostics of the vicharak board so that this issue can be avoided in future.

Team, can you please update?

Could you mail on support@vicharak.in !?

While powering up a device, with those black and red wires, there’s a possibility that device may have been damaged due to inverse polarities.
I request you try flashing newer image once.

https://docs.vicharak.in/vicharak_sbcs/axon/axon-linux/linux-usage-guide/rockchip-raw-image/

If this doesn’t work, you’ll have to ship device back to us and we’ll evaluate what is the issue.

HI Team, we already tried it via SD Card by Flashing with Balena Etcher. But still didn’t work.

I am already sent the mail. I request you to revert back with the address.
