Shrike Lite Unit – Heating Issue and Short Circuit Detected

Hi everyone,

I recently received two Shrike Lite boards. One unit is working perfectly, but the second one has a serious issue.

When I power it using USB-C, the LEDs blink, but the MCU starts heating up almost immediately. On further inspection with a multimeter, I found a short circuit between the 3.3V and GND rails on this board.

I have also recorded a video demonstrating the issue.

Has anyone experienced something similar? Is there any recommended debugging step, or should I directly request a replacement?
