Iām using the 20W iPhone charger, but I think it negotiates power based on what the device needs.

Could you share the dmesg logs when plugging in the c to c displayport cable, and then share the logs for the mport as well, do not filter or grep.

dmesg -w
Then connect the cable, paste the output here.
Also, could you share the model of the display?

I did have one of those portronics devices lying around.
So I did a few tests, applied some tweaks to the drivers as well.

Install the the deb package using

Is audio via HDMI or usb c supported ? , as its not working
HDMI Audio does work, it has been tested as well.
Not getting configured could be a userspace issue.
HDMI audio through portronics MPORT would depend on their(portronics) implementation of it, should work with a simple output select on the audio panel.
Audio works , I had to change settings

Sure, latest patch has been added. You can grab kernel image through apt now!
I checked with Usb c thunderbolt display , It is working and also have check for keyboard and mouse connected to monitor and working via usb c
